Disaster Risk Reduction on Museums and Heritage Safety in the Himalayan Region

Two-day workshop on “Disaster Risk Reduction on Museums and Heritage Safety in the Himalayan Region”, on 24th and 25th, February 2023, at IIT Roorkee.

 

The workshop is jointly organized by the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation & Management (CoEDMM), the Department of Architecture & Planning, and the Department of Chemistry, IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with the Global Rescue Foundation, with support from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

 

The workshop aims to build disaster management capacity by training museum and heritage site managers and young professionals to improve their ability to develop disaster management plans.
