National Forum On Youth In Disaster Mgt.
Organised by Global Rescue Foundation
Objective of the Forum
We feel that there is a gap when it comes to involving Youth in disaster management. There is a lot being done with Children but not enough with Youth. Keeping this in mind, the Global Rescue Foundation and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, one of the oldest youth’s organization of international reputation are organizing a two-day national forum on the role of youth and disaster management. The organizers are welcoming others to join hand and make this important effort very strong.
Purpose
We will invite youth group from many different parts for this two days forum. There are two purposes of this Forum:

To provide knowledge and raise awareness of selected youth groups on different types of disaster management issues.

To know the concerns of youth groups on disaster management so that we can support the younger generation in finding new disaster management solutions and encourage them to take direct actions at the grassroots.
This forum will set an example to all the stakeholders in all the states to hold similar forums and Global Rescue Foundation can be the knowledge partner for such events.
